Friday Food Finds – Party Food!

It’s Friday!

We’ve been drenched for 3 days here.  Between snow and rain, I’m ready for a warm weekend to clean my backyard and get ready for summer BBQs. In my preparation, I’ve been searching for great party food.  Here’s what I found!

Green Beans that Noodle will eat!

I have a picky little eater at home … actually two if you count MPG! These green fries are cute, crunchy and healthier than their potato counterparts.  Noodle loves them! They’re certainly kid-friendly, but I think they would make great party food, too!

Cheese Ball Lollypops

These mini cheese ball bites caught my attention because they’re little and make that inevitable messy cheese ball tray a lot easier to handle.  Of course, these will take you a bit longer, but think about the impression you’ll make! They’re kid-friendly too. That’s important in my life these days!

Crabby Bites

I love crab cakes. They are on my top 10 list of favorite foods. These Parmesan-crusted crab cake bites are the perfect size to just pop in your mouth and savor. That might be dangerous for me. I’d eat them all before the party started!

Southwest Flair

Southwestern egg rolls hold a special place in my … stomach! I love that these are mini versions made with wonton wrappers because it makes them perfect finger food to set out while you’re occupying the grill.

Fabulous Fakes

MPG and Noodle love Cheddar Bay Biscuits.  Red Lobster loses money on us because they can consume their weight in these buttery treats.  If you’re like them, these Copycat Cheddar Bay Biscuits are a definite must!

Now that I have some tasty snacks picked out, I’ll have to look for the main course! Then drinks! Then desserts! Then decorations! Whew … I better get to work 🙂

  1. Thanks for including my cheddar bay biscuits! I’ve made those SW eggrolls from Cake and Allie (I didn’t use wonton wrapper, though) and they are delicious. The dipping sauce is amazing!
